You know how you kinda figure out what to order when we spy on the dishes that other patrons order... we did so too. The menu was simple - fish head noodles (duh??!!) and fish maw noodles. And since 99% of the orders were the former, we too decided to go down the same route.
I never acquired this thing for fish head, whether curry or this soupy variant and especially with fish head noodles I am usually quite apprehensive cos many add milk ?? So i dived in and hoped for the best.

It turned out to be delicious. The fish head was cut in bite size pieces and deepfried and added into the bowl of wholesome fish soup (sweet, no fishy taste whatsoever) that came with salted vegetables, coriander (a small bit only otherwise would have to pick them out) and slivers of ginger. The portion was large and as usual, all the devoured was the SOUP. The fish was fresh and the flesh was firm. The sambal and chilli padi really rocked it further!
My colleague, Anthony happily posed for this action shot of him slurping down this bowl of wholesome goodness all for only at RM6.50 for each bowl.
(a cute and very unusual way of dishing out the sambal and chilli padi, they had this person walk around with a large tray for patrons to just take as much as they like. WE LIKE!)
